Sourced from the finest beeswax, our pellets are a pure and sustainable choice for a wide range of applications. The scent of pure high quality beeswax like our beeswax pellets depends on the season in which the beeswax is harvested and bee foraging sources at that time.

How to use beeswax pellets?

Melting beeswax pellets is a straightforward process, and you can use various methods depending on your preferences and the scale of your project. We recommend using a double boiler and not the microwave (of course it’s up to you though). Add pellets into a double boiler or a heatproof bowl over a pot and heat over a medium heat until melted. Do not walk away from heating beeswax as even on a low heat if left unattended it will burn and turn dark in colour. If needing to use for beeswax food wax wraps you can sprinkle pellets directly onto the fabric.

Melt and pour temperature: 85 – 90 degrees.

There are extensive uses for beeswax pellets but here are just a few:

  • Candle Making: Melt beeswax pellets for smooth and even candle creation, imparting a natural honeyed aroma to your space.
  • Skincare Products: Harness the nourishing properties of beeswax for crafting balms, salves, and lotions that provide a protective barrier and lock in moisture.
  • Natural Food Wraps: Create eco-friendly, reusable food wraps by blending beeswax pellets with fabric, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic wrap.
  • Leather Care: Condition and waterproof leather goods by using melted beeswax to create a protective coating that enhances durability.
  • Wood Polish: Craft a natural wood polish by combining beeswax pellets with oils, providing a protective and lustrous finish for wooden surfaces.
  • DIY Lip Balms: Formulate your own lip balms using beeswax pellets as a base, ensuring a smooth texture and moisturizing effect.
  • Homemade Soaps: Incorporate beeswax pellets into soap recipes to enhance hardness and longevity, while contributing a subtle honey scent.
  • Thread Conditioning: Strengthen and condition threads for sewing by running them through beeswax, reducing friction and tangling.
